Lucas is the President of Evergreen MGA.  Lucas graduated from the University of Maine with a Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness and Resource Economics. In 1993 he began working at Evergreen in Information Technology and later as a Risk Manager.

Lucas continued to further his education in insurance by completing the prestigious Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter program where he earned his CPCU designation. He then continue to earn his Associates in Reinsurance, Associates in Underwriting, and Associates in Insurance Services.

Lucas was a former board member of the Maine Campground Owners Association and now serves as a board member and officer for Evergreen Indemnity, Ltd and Evergreen USA, RRG, Inc.  Lucas is licensed as a property & casualty producer, life & health producer, and holds his Series 6 license. Lucas is the proud recipient of the 2010 C.A.M.P Impact Award.

He enjoys rock climbing, hiking, ice climbing, reading, flying and spending time with his wife Elizabeth and their dog, Alaska.
