Starting April 1, 2010 all employees of Evergreen are participating in an effort to find alternative ways to work.  Employees of Evergreen drive about 70,000 miles each year getting to and from work.  It is the goal of Evergreen in the first year to reduce the miles driven by 10%, which is 7,000 miles.  This will be accomplished by employees ride sharing, biking, walking, and possibly even cross country skiing.
