ARVC maintains a strong presence on Capitol Hill to lobby on behalf of the camping industry. State associations perform similar functions at local levels.
Additionally, trade associations help market the industry and offer a wealth of educational opportunities to members. Most publish directories for the camping public, maintain discount credit card programs, and provide individual website pages to members.
